Department: US Operations Development Team – Ordering and Routing Process Support
This is a project for 6 months only and will report to Global IT VP for Enterprise Applications.  
Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced contract .NET Developer with deep expertise in SQL scripting to join our development team in Coppell, TX. This role will focus on supporting, optimizing, and enhancing critical ordering and routing processes for our US operations. We need an expert who can step in and make an immediate impact on day one, working alongside our team to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
.NET Development
Rapidly design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core and related technologies to support ordering and routing processes.
Analyze current systems and provide immediate solutions to optimize performance and functionality.
Ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance through expert coding, peer review, and unit testing.
SQL Scripting and Database Management
Craft complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to manage, retrieve, and report critical data for ordering and routing operations.
Conduct SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting to maintain data integrity and system reliability.
Collaborate with database administrators to support schema design and ensure optimal database functionality.
Problem Solving and Technical Support
Identify and address technical challenges efficiently, supporting fast-paced operational needs.
Provide thorough documentation for all code and SQL processes to enable seamless knowledge transfer.
Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of advanced experience in .NET development, specifically in ASP.NET and .NET Core environments.
Expert-level proficiency in SQL scripting, including complex queries, stored procedures, and database performance optimization.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server or similar relational databases.
Familiarity with Hangfire open-source coding.
Hands-on experience with Roadnet or other routing software solutions.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to hit the ground running.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Previous contract experience in logistics, supply chain, or routing processes.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Basic understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is advantageous.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
Contract Details:
Duration: 6 months, with potential extension based on project needs and performance.
Hours: Full-time, onsite in Coppell, TX, with flexibility for operational support as required.
