AI/ML Delivery Leader

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Developing and executing strategies that align with broader business objectives, setting clear goals for the team focusing on machine learning solutions.
2. Team Management: Building and leading a strong team to develop, deploy, and manage state-of-the-art ML models in production, including classic ML, DNNs, and Large Language Models/GenAI.
3. Talent Scouting and Training: Seeking out the best talents in machine learning and data science and overseeing their training.
4. Maintaining Best Practices: Staying up to date with emerging AI trends to ensure the organization always utilizes the best ML practices.
5. Collaboration: Working collaboratively with teams across the organization and influencing decision-making at senior levels.
6. Ethical AI Practices: Ensuring AI/ML solutions are developed and deployed ethically and responsibly, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contracts, enterprise policies, and Code of Conduct.
7. AI Impacts: Working with stakeholders to align on AI agenda across all lines of business4.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Science, or Analytics with at least 8 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or related fields
• Hands-on experience in various AI/ML techniques, such as deep learning, natural language processing, recommender systems, reinforcement learning, large language models (LLM), etc.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools, such as MLFlow, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn, etc.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools and practices, such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Experience in working with cross-functional and distributed teams in a global and diverse environment
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing AI/ML talent
• Experience in establishing and enforcing AI/ML best practices, standards, and ethics
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing AI/ML teams and projects, from ideation to delivery and evaluation
• Proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis and AI/ML development
• Proven excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex AI/ML concepts and results to technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance innovation and pragmatism
• Demonstrated passion for learning and staying updated with the latest AI/ML trends and research
