Position: Senior C++ Developer
 

Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid, Must work 4 Days onsite a week)

 

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Interview Procedure: 1st Round – 30 minutes Phone Interview & 2nd Round – In-Person Interview

 

 Visa: USC, GC ,GC EAD and H4 EAD

 
 
 

Project:

 

HSM Hardware Box device, integrates with software that does the encryption/creates encryption keys. Develop and troubleshoot, support testing as needed. Looking for an expert who can advise on design approach and feasibility for new features in the future. The team has a lot of Java developers, but only 1 C++, the team will depend heavily on this candidate. There is no one for them to seek guidance form, that’s why they’re looking for an expert.

 
  • We chatted about embedded systems; a lot of autos have candidates with super good C++ skills. Also, loads of layoff there too, perhaps a good target to us.

Req. History: Opened 2x before. 1st, backed out right on start day, when he was supposed to pick up his laptop, changed his mind and said he wouldn’t relocate. 2nd backout was after 2 months onboarding, worked for 2 months, then resigned for an FTE role. Very hesitant on relocation candidates, will prioritize local.

 

Requirements:

 
  • Strong C++ coding skills. Ideally wants someone with 10+ years of experience, will look at 8 years.
  • Multithreading along with object-oriented programming.
  • RedHat Linux
  • Shell scripting is a must.

Desired Skills:

 
  • Perl scripting
  • PKI/ PKICS#11 – super hard to find, willing to teach on the job.
  • HSMs – desired as it’s hard to find as well.
