JOB TITLE: PeopleSoft Technical Developer

On-Site: 2 days a week on site (can be any day), or 8 days a month on site for a candidate who is traveling (4 days a week every other week)

Top 3 Required Skills:

  • 12+ years of PeopleSoft and 5+ years of Federal experience in PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain v 9.2,
  • Upgrade to PeopleTools 8.6x experience at a recent federal project,
  • Knowledge and experience with Asset Management, General Ledger, Commitment Control, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and the Purchasing suite of modules

Required Certifications: Nice to have PeopleSoft integration, peoplesoft developer or oracle cloud certification

Required Education: 4-year degree in computer, engineering, business or equivalent

 

This position is a 6 month temp to hire, however if the candidate doesn't want to convert, they will keep them as a year long biller. 

Support, upgrade and modernize all financials systems including Oracle PeopleSoft, Hyperion, Oracle EPBCS Cloud, Coupa and Lawson HR.

 

 

Job Description:

Environment

  • PeopleSoft Financials as its production financials application with the following modules: General Ledger, Commitment Control, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing, and Asset Management. Currently using version 9.2, tools 8.61.
  • Oracle Access Management and Oracle Virtual Directory single sign-on functionality for PeopleSoft with Active Directory. PeopleSoft is also integrated with several systems including Coupa Expense Module, Remedy (IDHub), Pentaho and the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management Public Sector Budget and Planning application.

 

Summary

The focus of the Technical Specialist/Developer will be developing new reports and customizations, updating existing reports, building/maintaining APIs and functionality, and providing analysis and troubleshooting. The resource will retrofit objects as needed when applying maintenance packs and upgrades. Integration Broker, application messaging, REST API, JSON, and other integration functionality may be utilized. The Technical Specialist/Developer will assist the PeopleSoft support staff, working directly with the other developers, the system administrators, and the functional teams. Normal production support activities such as adding new reports, reconciliation support, troubleshooting and enhancements to PeopleSoft Financials will be underway during the timeframe of this task order.

 

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility will be to support the ERP PeopleSoft Financials production application, as well as its continued development, testing, and integration with related applications,
  • Assist staff with monitoring, processing, troubleshooting, reporting, and reconciling activity,
  • Support the production operation of the ERP PeopleSoft Financials production application from the current 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.56; and the integration to Coupa Expense Module(In process), Remedy (IDHub) and Pentaho
  • Assist with evaluating additional functionality and using current functionality in other ways to increase the benefits of the application for the House.

 

Requirements (1-5 are MUST HAVES)

  1. 12+ years of PeopleSoft and 5+ years Federal experience in PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain v 9.2,
  2. Upgrade to PeopleTools 8.6 experience at a recent federal project,
  3. Knowledge and experience with Asset Management, General Ledger, Commitment Control, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and the Purchasing suite of modules,
  4. Knowledge and experience with WorkCenter and Fluid page development,
  5. Experience using Integration Broker and application messages to integrate PeopleSoft Financials with another application,
  6. Experience integrating PeopleSoft Financials with the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management Public Sector Budget and Planning application.
  7. Experience working with Coupa a big plus
  8. Experience working with Remedy (IDHub) and Pentaho is a plus as well.
