Day two support
Cloud Development Engineer
Skills Targeted (compared to a general developer)
1) Cloud Experience (Azure, AKS prioritized, GCP secondary)
2) Systems Engineering
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code
- Experience with cloud computing infrastructure (virtual networking, containers, runtime orchestration, API-driven web services [e.g. object storage, event management services])
3) Automation Engineering
- Business Process Engineering
- Systems Integration and Automation (e.g. multi-protocol, transactional event processing, batch, concurrency)
4) Software Development
- Microservices architecture and development experience
- Data design and database schema experience with structured and unstructured database systems
- DevOps experience
5) Platform Engineering
- cloud observability tools
- cloud resiliency
- critical application support in multi region architectures
6) Systems Design
- advertising services for enterprise consumption via API gateway
- knowledge of modern web application architectures and how they align with cloud native infrastructure
Reference Applications
- Conversant in Cloud technologies
- experience with technology-based learning plans and content
- Working with L&D ability to create/maintain Cloud scenario-based learning paths for all roles
- ability to create reference applications and materials to support the learning paths
- excellent communication skills both written and verbal
