Title: ETL Database Developer
Duration: 6-12 months/Contract
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)

Responsibilities
•Design & Develop DB Scripts
•Design and develop ETL using Informatica
•Document and present solution alternatives to clients, which support business processes and business objectives.
•Work with Front End (Reporting) teams to understand their data display capability
•Work with business analysts to understand and prioritize user requirements
•Follow proper software development lifecycle processes and standards
• Update Technical detail design document & Confluence Portal
•Work with Peer Developers and business team
•Update JIRA on a daily basis
• Provide weekend support if required, during deployment / Release
• Work with Production support team when required and troubleshoot / identify issues.
•Maintain deep knowledge and awareness of technical & industry best practices and trends, especially in technology & methodologies.
Skills and Knowledge
•Strong DB Skills
•Proficient in writing complex SQLs by incorporating Joins, Aggregations, Common Table expressions, Analytical functions etc.
•Proficient in database performance tuning including indexing, partitioning, analyzing SQL plans etc.
•Experience with SQL database programming, SQL performance tuning, relational model analysis, queries, stored procedures, views, functions and triggers
•Demonstrate strong and hands-on experience and background in database principles and concepts
•Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing principles, best practices
•Hands-on experience in writing and understanding stored procedures / packages / Functions
•At least 5 years of hands-on experience with at least one of the databases including Postgres, Oracle, DB2, Sybase etc.
•Experience with ETL tools preferably Informatica
•Knowledge in developing UNIX scripts
•Strong experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology
