About the job
Seeking a project engineer for a client in the Front Royal, VA area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting engineering and maintenance resources with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks’ completion. This is a hybrid contract/contract-to-hire role with the potential to convert at the end of 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Assist with on-site management to ensure project success
- Plan and maintain project schedule coordinating activities in accordance with deadlines
- Perform financial analysis, develop, and monitor project budget
- Review design and specifications
- Maintain design and commissioning documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5 years’ of project engineer or project manager experience
- Preferred experience in industrial and/or chemical manufacturing
- Ability to use SAP and MS Office
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
