Overview:

Our client is seeking a Data Migration Lead to support the migration of data from their current Warehouse Management System (WMS) to a new system. The Data Lead will be responsible for mapping data requirements, ensuring accurate source-to-target data migration, and aligning data processes with the business needs of the logistics and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the data mapping process from the existing WMS to new, ensuring accurate and efficient data migration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements related to logistics and supply chain data.
• Define source-to-target data mapping, ensuring all data elements are accurately captured and transitioned to the new system.
• Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to validate data quality and ensure alignment with business processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues, providing recommendations for improvements where necessary.
• Develop documentation and processes to support the data migration and provide ongoing support during the implementation phase.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with experience in SAP eWM preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in data migration, mapping, and integration, with a focus on logistics and supply chain operations.
• Strong technical understanding of data structures and databases, combined with a solid business understanding of supply chain processes.
• Proven ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to drive data migration efforts.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
