Job Title: Network Engineer L3
Location: Jackson, MI 49201 (Day 1 Onsite)
Max Rate – $45/hr -$47/hr On C2C

Network Infrastructure Role:
The Platform Engineer provides virtual infrastructure evaluation, design, implementation, and 3rd Level technical support services to the customer. Utilize automation to remove wasted effort and improver user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Network Management and Optimization including Design and Implementation
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to respond to security incidents and implement preventive measures
- Work extensively with the Tools Team to enhance monitoring in the network and security area
- Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
- Provide Level 2/3 support for network-related incidents and collaborate with IT support teams for resolution.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures for troubleshooting and auditing purposes
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline network management tasks in SolarWinds, such as configuration management, monitoring, and reporting.
- Utilize network automation platforms (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Terraform) to manage network infrastructure as code
- Stay updated on emerging network technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Participate in projects to upgrade or replace legacy network infrastructure and introduce new technologies
- Expert troubleshooting skills: candidate should possess advanced troubleshooting abilities to quickly diagnose and resolve operational issues within the data network.
