Job Title: VBA Developer (Visual Basic)
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Day – 1 Onsite)
Client: Birlasoft
Duration: 12+ Months
Experience: 10 Years or Above
 
Data Analysis – MS Excel Expert with strong P&C Insurance Domain understanding and experience in working on Actuarial processes.
Location: Jersey City, NJ. It’s a days 1 onsite role. (This is no Remote or Hybrid Role).
 
Must Have Skills:
P&C Insurance, Actuarial processes, Actuarial Calculations, Underwriters Rating/ Rating, premium calculation.
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled candidate with 5+ Years of Excel & VBA hand on experience and having strong P&C Insurance Domain understanding and experience in working on Actuarial processes.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and Modelling: Utilize Excel VBA to develop and maintain complex actuarial models and automate data analysis processes.
• Strong P&C Knowledge on commercial and specialty lines
• Actuarial Calculations: Perform actuarial calculations for pricing, reserving, and risk assessment. (preferred)
• Reporting: Generate detailed reports and dashboards to communicate findings and support decision-making.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve actuarial processes using Excel VBA.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other actuaries, underwriters, and IT professionals to support various projects and initiatives.

 
Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and VBA programming.
• Strong P&C Insurance Domain understanding with experience on working on actuarial processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
