Job Title: Windows Admin
Location: REMOTE
Roles and responsibilities
- Provide administration of servers in a virtualized server environment using VMware and or Hyper-V management tools
- Provide administration of Windows Server 2008 and 2012 in a virtualized server environment, i.e. Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS
- Provide implementation and administration of DNS and associated networking services
- Effectively monitor Windows Servers using advanced built-in features as well as 3rd party tools
- Troubleshoot server system problems, utilizing available tools and working in coordination with other internal groups and vendor provided technical support resources
- Troubleshoot networking issues related to routing, firewalls, and DMZ architecture
- Work with other unit members to monitor and ensure compliance with corporate security policies.
- Use a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving
- Document complex system configurations, processes, and procedures
Certifications:
- MCSE and MCSA
- Experience in cloud platform, AWS and Azure preferred
