Job Details

  • Sitecore QA Lead is responsible for designing and developing strategies required for any sitecore application testing. The QA Lead brings continuous improvements, and advocates shift-left culture within the QA department.
  • Works closely with the project team to create clear and complete quality deliverables, including test plans, test strategy, test cases, procedures, and test reports.
  • Creates, monitors, and executes manual and automated tests by decomposing business requirements.
  • Perform database testing using complex SQL queries

 Education

  • Four-year college degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical disciplines such as Science or Engineering.

 Experience and Skills

  • Eight years of experience, preferably in either a SR QA Engineer, Lead, Software Development Engineer or (SDET) Software Development Engineer in a Test role
  • Strong experience in CMS such as Sitecore
  • Experience with Test processes, open-source test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests in Java with frameworks like JUnit/TestNG, Selenium, JMeter, and Appium is preferred.
  • Experience leading ambiguous situations, dealing with technical issues, and coming up with practical solutions to ensure customer project deliverables
  • Experience with Azure or other continuous integration systems
  • Experience with tools & applications such as JIRA, Confluence, and Git
  • Must have previous experience with requirements, defect, functional, and performance management systems
  • Excellent coding skills in one of the high-level programming languages (Java, C++, C#, Perl)
  • Expert in software quality and testing methodologies
