Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, screens, and fields to meet business requirements.
- Expert in developing and maintaining custom Jira plugins and scripts using SIL Programming and Groovy scripting.
- Implement and manage Automation for Jira to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Integrate Jira with other tools and systems to streamline processes.
- Utilize Jira and Confluence REST APIs and webhooks for integrations and automation.
- Write SQL queries to query Jira tables in Postgres SQL.
- Experience with GitLab.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Jira configurations and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Maintain documentation for Jira configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Stay updated with the latest Jira features and updates to leverage new functionalities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other Atlassian tools (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket). Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
