Role: Tricentis QTest Architect / Tricentis Tosca Architect
Location: Chicago, IL / Hybrid
Duration: Long Term
Contract: C2C
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Designing and developing Test Automation Framework and Test Methodology using Tricentis Tosca
· Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies for various software products and features
· Manage test data and test environments using Tosca tools and best practices
· Integrate test automation framework with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
· Troubleshoot and resolve test automation issues and defects
· Generate and analyse test reports and metrics using Tosca tools and other tools
· Provide technical guidance and support to other test engineers and developers
· Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and Tosca
· Defining automation best practices, project structure and review process.
· Perform regular review and maintenance of the test portfolio to ensure best practices
· Define upgrade and maintenance approach and perform upgrades and migrations
· Support test automation solutions for different environments UI and Non-UI related (Web, Windows, SAP and API’s etc)
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science in Engineering or related field
· 12+ years of experience in software testing
· 5+ years of experience as Test Architect in Tosca
· 3+ years of hands-on experience in using Tricentis Tosca
· Proficient in test automation tools, languages, and frameworks such as Selenium, Java, Python, Cucumber, or TestNG
· Experience in installing, configuring, operating, testing, and monitoring CI/CD pipeline tools
· Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and standards
· Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
· Certifications in Tricentis Tosca is mandatory.
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, extremely responsive and able to prioritize a large number of tasks
· Self-motivated, works well independently and with others
· Have good experience in API Testing using Tosca
· Familiarity with Selenium automated testing, functional, performance and load testing systems (ALM, LoadRunner, UFT etc.) is a plus
