Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner who will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and managing the product roadmap.
This role requires a strategic mindset combined with strong project management capabilities and a deep understanding of agile methodologies.
The ideal candidate will be able to work closely with cross functional teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of product features that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with client technology leadership and senior managers to identify requirements and translate them into well-defined product features.
- Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that user stories are clearly defined and aligned with the product vision.
- Work closely with the Scrum Master and development teams to define detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and story points.
- Own the product roadmap, ensuring that features are aligned with Longterm strategic goals.
- Lead the effort in gathering and documenting technical and nontechnical requirements, converting them into actionable user stories.
- Guide teams in agile practices, ensuring adherence to agile delivery methodologies and continuous improvement.
- Drive product demos, providing a clear vision of product updates to stakeholders and gathering feedback for future improvements.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment on product goals and priorities.
- Identify and communicate risks, issues, and project status to leadership teams.
- Develop clear and concise documentation for initiatives, features, and user stories for various audiences.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of overall professional experience. Minimum of 4+ years as a Product Owner.
- Proven experience in managing product roadmaps, defining product strategies, and working closely with cross functional teams.
- Strong requirements elicitation and writing skills, with the ability to tailor communications for various stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience in Agile methodologies, backlog grooming, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Jira Align).
- Ability to present complex technical details in a simple, clear manner to business and technical audiences.
- Understanding of cloud environments and exposure to DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
