Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security strategies to enhance the IT security posture.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain various security tools (e.g., network scanners, SIEM).
• Coordinate and complete IT security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Review and modify corporate IT security standards as needed.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to enforce security requirements and address risks.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance for IT projects.
• Report on risks, vulnerabilities, and security exposures to IT management.
• Lead security assessments for application development and acquisition projects.
• Ensure security issues are addressed throughout project lifecycles.
• Research and recommend IT security hardware and software solutions.
• Manage relationships with key IT security vendors and provide engineering expertise.
• Collaborate with security architecture teams to design and implement security solutions.
• Occasionally represent IT security to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of information risk concepts and IT security principles.
• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively.
