Job Title: SAP GTS Consultant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP GTS Consultant with a strong background in business processes and their technical association within SAP GTS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP GTS Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Trade Preference Management, along with SAP SD as a secondary skill. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership, developing GTS solutions, and collaborating with architects and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical leadership to teams and integrate business understanding to develop GTS solutions.
2. Gather and analyze business requirements, design feasible technical solutions, and ensure alignment with project timelines and upgrade capabilities.
3. Work closely with Solution Architects to drive project designs, facilitate reviews, and develop detailed specifications.
4. Implement and configure SAP GTS Compliance Management modules, including Sanction Party List Screening, Embargo, Product Classification, and Legal Control.
5. Lead Customs Management processes, including Export/Import Declarations, Transit, Bonded Warehouse, and Electronic Filing.
6. Handle SAP GTS Trade Preference Management and the configuration settings in Feeder systems (ECC/S4).
7. Provide support with IDOC monitoring, debugging, and issue resolution.
8. Prepare Test Scripts, participate in job monitoring, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
9. Develop functional design specifications and participate in design reviews, code reviews, and deployment troubleshooting.
10. Contribute to the ERP/CRM Practice, including knowledge sharing, case study assembly, and organizing internal seminars and hackathons.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience with SAP GTS Compliance and Customs Management modules.
• Hands-on experience in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution).
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and functional specifications.
• Experience with IDOC monitoring and resolving related issues.
• Basic ABAP debugging skills.
• Skilled in preparing and executing Test Scripts and understanding job purposes and resolutions.
• Strong ability to communicate requirements and collaborate with developers.
• Experience in monitoring and resolving issues related to SAP Jobs.

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to SAP ECC/S4 configuration settings (document types, master data).
• Experience working with external systems using SOAP API, REST API.
• Knowledge of Agile Methods such as Scrum and Kanban.

General Expectations:

• Develop technical documents such as Functional Design Specifications and deployment documentation.
• Perform design document reviews, peer code reviews, and provide code improvement suggestions.
• Collaborate with the team to optimize efficiency, cost, and quality in solution development.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring they are upskilled and engaged in project activities.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and timelines.
• Provide status reports and proactively manage risks to ensure timely project delivery.

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant SAP GTS certifications are a plus.
