Role: AWS Data Engineer (heavy QuickSight/ IAM/ Data Modeling)
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 12 Months
Visa: No H1B/ OPT/ CPT
Process: Phone/ Skype
Self-directed. This person would be the first QuickSight expert at the client and they would need to
be able to establish plans and direction for how to accomplish client reporting needs.
Most Important:
- AWS QuickSight: Extensive experience in developing dashboards, creating calculated fields, and applying filters, parameters, and actions.
- SQL and Data Modeling: Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, understanding data structures, and working with relational and non-relational databases.
- Security: Experience implementing row-level security and IAM permissions for QuickSight resources.
Nice to have:
- AWS Data Services: Experience with AWS data services such as S3, Athena, and Glue for data transformation and analysis.
- ETL Tools: Familiarity with ETL processes and tools to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into QuickSight-compatible formats.
- Data Visualization: In-depth understanding of data visualization best practices, including building KPIs, scorecards, and intuitive graphical representations of data.
- API and Automation: Ability to use QuickSight APIs for automating dashboard creation, updates, and embedding QuickSight reports in applications.
