Primary Skills
* Experience with access networking and DOCSIS technologies
* Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing and switching
* Strong background in network testing, with the ability to contribute with minimal training
* Familiarity with firewalls and their role in network security
* Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills:
* Experience with cable, device, and voice system testing
* Familiarity with voice technologies and their integration within networks
* Knowledge of CCNA certification is a plus, but hands-on experience is more critical
Responsibilities:
- Network Test Engineer will perform testing and validation of network devices, focusing on DOCSIS technologies
- Conduct thorough testing of cable, device, and voice systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to routing, switching, and firewalls within the network
- As a Network Test Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network components
- Provide detailed documentation of test results and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Work independently to manage and prioritize testing tasks in a dynamic environment
