Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Golang Engineer with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in building scalable, efficient back-end systems. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, a “go-getter,” and someone who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments. You will play a critical role in developing and maintaining distributed systems, leveraging modern cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Bigtable, Cassandra, and Kafka.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize back-end services and microservices using Golang.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions in GCP.
- Leverage Bigtable, Cassandra, and Kafka to build high-performance, distributed systems.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and scale applications.
- Ensure code quality and reliability through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, bringing in Golang best practices for building resilient and scalable applications.
- Manage real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures using Kafka.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in Golang, cloud technologies, and distributed systems to ensure best-in-class solutions.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in Golang development, with a solid understanding of its libraries and concurrency patterns.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly in deploying and managing applications.
- Hands-on experience with Bigtable, Cassandra, and Kafka.
- Strong knowledge of building and scaling microservices and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DevOps practices and working in a cloud-native environment.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms like AWS or Azureis a plus.
- Familiarity with real-time data processing and event-driven architectures.
