Role: Sr. Java Developer
Location: New York, NY (3 Days Onsite)
Mandatory Skills:
- Spring Boot, Microservices
- Kafka
- Azure, AWS
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of strategic solutions and identify tactical solutions when necessary.
- Manage project delivery, ensuring timelines, scope, and high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with other technical leads to drive technology-led transformation initiatives.
- Develop code that aligns with requirements and design documents.
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance performance and growth.
- Stay current by proactively seeking knowledge from internal and external sources.
- Utilize DevOps to automate testing and deployment processes for applications.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in software development.
- Expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data, and Spring Batch.
- Experience in delivering large-scale projects using the Java platform.
- Proficiency in working with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or MongoDB.
- Strong experience in data analysis, data profiling, and data lineage.
- Ability to define solutions with a focus on reusability and alignment with enterprise strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Data Bricks.
- Familiarity with software architecture and design patterns, including SOA, layered architecture, and component-based architecture.
- Financial services experience is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s is a plus).
- Experience developing UI/UX features is a plus.
