Position:             Senior Specialist – Quality Engineering

Location:            New York, NY

Duration:           Contract

Job description

• Hands-on experience in Manual and automated Testing for AWS, Rest API using Selenium and Python.
• Experience testing complex web-based applications, including preparing, documenting, and executing test criteria, test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
• Hands on experience in AWS and API automation with Python.
• Strong hold on Python, should be able to learn the existing automation framework and manage it independently.
• Experience in using Test Management & Defect Management tools.
• Can create and adheres to test plan and the scope of the project
• Monitors and reports progress of testing activities
• Ensures that any risks associated with test strategy and system test plan are clearly documented and described to the client
• Manages all risks associated with the testing and takes preventive action when any risks become unacceptable.
• Knowledge of Agile development processes – Sprint Planning, stand up calls, Retrospective meetings, User story Grooming, Story pointing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to co-ordinate efficiently with client, products, offshore & onshore teams and bridge the communication gap.
