Location: Hybrid – Boston, MA/Princeton, NJ
Job Description
Reporting BA – Capital Markets
• 10-15 years of experience as Reporting Analyst/Functional Consultant
• Strong professional experience in Capital Markets industry with good proficiency in Investment Products, preferably related to Private Markets
• Exposure to one or more asset classes (private equity, hedge funds, real estate, synthetic derivatives etc.) is desired
• Knowledge about the reporting needs (investment activity, performance, capital account information etc.) for private market firms/private institutional investor
• Processing, compiling & consolidation of various data points across data marts in a timely and accurate manner for internal and external deliverables
• Design and document reporting & dashboarding requirements for client accounts, commingled funds, senior mgmt. analysis etc. as per organizational standards
• Elicit high level API requirements, formulating API functional specifications and collaboratively shaping API structure.
• Perform deep dive analysis, rule interpretation and gap analysis to highlight areas of concern in the existing reporting process
• Know-how about regulatory and investor reporting compliance requirements for US markets
• Exposure working on market leading Alts performance data providers (SS Alpha, Evestment, Bloomberg, Factset, Morningstar Direct etc.) will be of significant advantage
Strong Analytical Skills & problem-solving skills Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
Excellent hands on experience in SQL & doing data mapping
Should be proficient with BA role and responsibilities, like creating BRD, FRD writing, use cases, process flows and other deliverables. Should also have experience in managing E2E implementation (Agile/Waterfall) and translating requirements into feature function capability
Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines in a dynamic work environment by working independently or as part of a team
Strong communication (written & verbal) and excellent stakeholder management skills.
