Job Description:
Required:
• Availability to work at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• IT work experience in multiple IT areas (7+ years);
• Experience with software development (5+ years);
• Experience with relational databases (5+ years);
• Experience with system administration (5+ years);
• Experience in cloud architecture and implementation;
• Experience with providing technical support for the maintenance of new and existing servers and database infrastructure services (5+ years);
• Experience with providing customer service for client-reported issues requiring technical assistance (5+ years);
• Experience with architecting IT solutions and reviewing/providing recommendations on products to meet those solutions;
• Leadership experience with managing and completing complex projects relevant to server/database infrastructure services;
• Experience with supporting the management and completion of complex projects or project tasks relevant to server/database infrastructure services as a team member;
• Experience and understanding of COM policies and procedures for IT services as they apply to the project or task at hand;
• Advanced to expert-level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications, systems design, and integration;
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall Development Methodology;
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOps;
• Experience with American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Structured Query Language (SQL) (Oracle 12g, or SQL Server);
• Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (web services);
• Experience in identity management and implementation of SSO (Single Sign-On);
• Experience and implementation of cloud-native services;
• Experience with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and/or familiarity with other Enterprise Architecture frameworks;
• Must have significant business knowledge and have one or more areas of technical expertise in which they concentrate;
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field;
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Provide overall direction, guidance, and definition of the enterprise architecture to effectively support the organization’s strategic goals and objectives;
• Research, analyze, design, propose, and deliver architectural solutions that align with business and technology strategies;
• Act as a visionary across multiple business areas, proactively defining the direction for future IT projects and ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies;
• Establish and enforce standards and best practices for architectural solutions across the organization;
• Identify areas of technology that are impacted by new business requests and assess the implications on the enterprise architecture;
• Conduct design reviews for enhancements and larger fixes to ensure compliance with architectural standards and project goals;
• Interface with stakeholders across business and IT areas, building consensus around architectural decisions and ensuring successful execution of solutions.
