Role: Senior Project Manager

Description
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our Project Management Department. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning and overseeing the execution of entire projects. You’ll work closely with Lead Project Managers, key business leaders and internal stakeholders to drive projects to completion. The position involves coordinating multiple projects, resource management, stakeholder and sponsor communications, reporting, and program financial management, along with reporting and tracking business value.
Responsibilities
· Lead the creation of comprehensive project plans that outline approach, time frames, resources, and budget requirements to meet desired goals and outcomes
· Manage multiple, interdependent projects and project teams at once
· Facilitate project meetings with team members and stakeholders to discuss progress, challenges and updates
· Identify any project risks and partners with leadership and stakeholders to mitigate risk and remove barriers
· Drive the project team to meet project milestones and report out on progress
· Lead regular interactions with leadership and key stakeholders to inform, alert, negotiate and maintain a continuing good relationship and shared vision for project outcomes
· Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers as needed to drive progress on project forward
· Oversee and maintain comprehensive project budgets to ensure accurate allocation of resources and keep the project within financial constraints
· Make critical decisions to help push the value delivery and ensure work being done is aligned with overall business strategy

- Understanding of stakeholder management and project governance
- Ability to deliver business value aligned with strategy
- Leadership skills including mentorship of junior project managers
- Excellent communication skills to ensure successful stakeholder interaction and team success
- Ability to utilize portfolio management skills such as resource planning, what-if scenario planning, and tradeoff analysis
- Adept at problem solving complex issues related to project barriers and resource constraints
Requirements
· College degree in business or a related field
· 5-10 years of proven management experience and/or related business experience
· Proven track record of leading large initiatives in a project management or business leadership capacity
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required
