Job Title: Sr. Cloud Developer

Location: 1025 Virginia Avenue Atlanta, GA 30354 (Hybrid)

Duration: 06+ Contract with possible extension/conversion

Candidate Needs to Have:

• Experience with DevOps Tools: AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI/CD, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS IAM services: AWS IAM, Roles, Policies, Security Groups.
• Proficiency in Cloud Monitoring Tools: AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Experience with AWS Compute Services: EC2.
• Knowledge of Security Tools and Standards: PingID, OIDC, OAuth 2.0.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Linux Systems: Package managers, basic shell scripting, SSH.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC): AWS CDK.
• Familiarity with Cloud Networking and Content Delivery: AWS VPC, CloudFront.
• Implement and manage cloud networking solutions, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and VPNs.
• Knowledge of Serverless Computing on AWS.

Job Responsibilities:

AWS Database Management:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, reliable cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS).
• Monitor database performance, implement backup and recovery strategies, and optimize queries and schemas.
• Ensure data integrity and security through controls, encryption, and data masking.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and provide guidance on best practices.

Cloud Storage Solutions:

• Design and manage cloud storage solutions (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage) to support various data types and access patterns.
• Implement data lifecycle management policies, including archiving, retention, and deletion.
• Configure and optimize storage systems for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery using replication and cross-region backup strategies.

API Management:

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs using best practices (e.g., REST, GraphQL).
• Implement API gateway solutions (e.g., AWS API Gateway, Apigee) for traffic management and security.
• Monitor API performance, usage, and security, and implement rate limiting, authentication, and authorization.
• Collaborate with development teams to create and maintain comprehensive API documentation and support integration.
