Job Description
QA automation engineers design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios. Designing documentation for automated processes.
This Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) 3 contractor position is part of the Administrative Applications Software Quality Assurance team and is responsible for the development and maintenance of automated test cases using Selenium or similar technology, development, and maintenance test scripts for both manual and automated testing for the Texas HHSC Legislative Tracking System (LTS) 2.0 application. Perform manual testing as required. Track test case execution. Establish regular automated schedules of test cases as well as required reporting. Use of Jira to log and track defects. Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices. Must have experience working in an Agile environment. Support the development team as needed in dev, test, UAT, and production and troubleshoot the test cases as required. Lead UAT testing activities as needed. Available for on-call support as needed.
