Job Description :: 

Must have ::

• needs admin background
• DB2 application background
• application DBA
• table and indexes
• maintain database objects
• The role is a DB2 system administrator, responsible for managing DB2 regions across multiple LPARs.
• The resource would be responsible for the health of the DB2 regions, monitoring, acting on and resolving tickets/issues, managing backups, recovery, DR, space extensions and performance tuning.

Nice-to-have skills ::

• IMS.

Basic Qualifications ::

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an IBM DB2 DB Administrator or in a similar role, working with IBM DB2 database architecture, administration, and performance tuning.
• Minimum 3 years of SMP/E experience including Installation, maintaining, and configuring base DB2 system libraries.
• High School Diploma or GED.
