Title: SDET (Strong Java Coding)

Location: Owings Mills, MD, 21117 (Hybrid – 2 days onsite required)
Visa: USC/GC/GC-EAD
Duration: 6 Months
Additional Notes: Must Have: Spring Framework experience, Tools: Eclipse (IntelliJ or Gradle)
Qualifications:
- 8-10+ years of US experience in software development and testing.
- Proficiency in automated testing frameworks, specifically TestNG, JUnit, Selenium, Postman.
- Strong Java coding experience
- Experience with Git and code management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for test automation. Gitlab – CI/CD – Load Testing, Postman, Any CI/CD (Jenkins, etc.)
- Expert experience with Postman for API testing.
- API Testing and JUnit Testing is a must
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting, Linux/Unix Ubuntu Environment Development
- Experience with Monitoring Tools, to look at logs in Splunk and good at Database Tools like MySQL, SQL Server
- Proficiency with various testing types such as unit, integration, functional, regression, load/performance testing.
- Experience working in a collaborative Agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using TestNG.
- Utilize Postman to test REST APIs.
- Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
- Work closely with the development team to analyze, debug and resolve any issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide inputs on testing matters.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
