Job Summary:
UST Global® is seeking a highly energetic and collaborative QE Engineer with 8+ years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in service automation, a solid understanding of backend operations and database validation, and some hands-on experience in front-end automation. This role involves performing end-to-end testing across multiple item components and adapting to new AI tools for automation testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for service automation.
- Conduct thorough backend operations and database validation to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Perform front-end automation testing to validate user interface functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across multiple components.
- Learn and integrate new AI tools into the automation testing process.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Mandatory Skills:
- Service Automation: Strong experience in developing and executing automated test scripts for service-based applications.
- Backend Operations & Database Validation: Proficient in validating backend processes and ensuring data accuracy.
- Front-End Automation: Some hands-on experience in automating UI tests for web applications.
- Test Development: Capable of developing comprehensive test strategies and plans for complex systems.
- End-to-End Testing: Experience in performing end-to-end testing across multiple components of large systems.
- Adaptability: Willingness and ability to learn and implement new AI tools for automation testing.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in test automation.
- Strong understanding of testing frameworks and tools.
- Experience in working with databases and writing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies and automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI tools in automation testing.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Experience in a retail or e-commerce environment.
Location: This position is onsite in Bentonville, AR.
