Job Title: FinOps Consultant

Location: Cleveland, OH (Hybrid)

End Client: Blue Origin | Working with Prime Vendor

Job Description:

5+ years of IT experience, 5+ years of FinOps experience – cost management/ i.t. budgeting and spending/ cost optimization best practices

Proficiency and understanding of at least one of the adopted public cloud provider platforms and services (e.g., Azure/ AWS/ OCI/ GCP preferred)

Experience in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting — preference toward financial disciplines with a high level of accuracy.

Analytical mindset and learning agility towards identifying op

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

FinOps fundamentals education or certification

Understanding of public cloud provider billing methods and concepts

Working knowledge of third-party or cloud-native cloud cost reporting products and tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Cloudability, Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Mgmt+Billing)

Advanced technical skills using Excel, SQL, MS Access, or other data analysis tools

Knowledge of accounting principles and financial management activities e.g., budgeting
