Title :: Senior IT Project Manager
Location :: (99% Remote, in Bay Area) (Must live in Bay Area, and willing to go in the office in Oakland, CA, 3 times per month for meetings) (candidates can relocate but has to be in Bay Area for day 1 of work, with an address in Bay Area to post on the start paperwork
Duration :: 6+ Months Contract

Must Have ::
- Must have Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years as an IT Project Manager
- 10+ years’ experience in mergers/acquisitions (M & A) as a Technical Project Manager… meaning…, candidate was part of a larger company that bought another company, and the candidate Project Managed the transition of the company…(migrating all the data, the infrastructure, etc..)
- Looking for candidates who have healthcare industry experience (5+ years with Healthcare company’s)
- Experience developing and executing comprehensive project plans that embrace best practices, including but not limited to scope and risk management, change management, quality management, effective communication plans, requirements management, and securing all necessary resources needed to achieve the project objectives
- Experience with MS office suite (as a PM)
- If you want to actually close a deal : Find a Senior Technical PM with 10+ year in M&A that did it at multiple Healthcare companies
Job Description ::
- The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing complex projects.
- The Senior Project Manager will develop and execute comprehensive project plans that embrace best practices, including but not limited to scope and risk management, change management, quality management, effective communication plans, requirements management, and securing all necessary resources needed to achieve the project objectives
- Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years as a Technical PM w/Bachelor’s degree (STEM degree, anything technical)
- 10+ years’ experience in mergers/acquisitions
- Looking for candidates who have healthcare industry experience – more than 5 years with Healthcare companies
- Has worked in environment where there is a mix of business and technology

- Ability to effectively identify and manage project risks.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
- Ability to establish program goals and objectives that support the strategic plan.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficient in project planning and life cycle development.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence effectively.
- Ability to train and mentor others.
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum Methodology and lean software development.
- Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
