Job title : Senior Data Engineer
Location: New York City (Onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Must Have: Data Engineer, System Designing, data manipulation, data operations, Oracle and Postgres databases, huge data sets, fine-tune database queries, creating high-performance queries, data base tuning.
Job Overview:
- We are seeking highly skilled Senior Data Engineers specializing in system design engineering. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in data manipulation, data operations, and a solid understanding of the entire data architecture. You will be expected to work with Oracle and Postgres databases, along with other relational databases, to handle huge data sets, fine-tune database queries, and create high-performance queries for database tuning.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Design Engineering: Expertise in designing robust and scalable data systems.
- Data Manipulation & Operations: Efficiently manage and manipulate large datasets.
- Database Tuning: Fine-tune database queries to enhance performance.
- Relational Databases: Work with Oracle, Postgres, and other relational databases.
- Data Architecture: Understand and implement comprehensive data architecture solutions.
- Connectivity: Ensure smooth and efficient connectivity between databases.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in system design engineering.
- Database Expertise: Proficiency in Oracle and Postgres databases, and experience with other relational databases.
- Data Handling: Proven ability to work with and manage huge data sets.
- Query Optimization: Strong skills in creating high-performance database queries for optimization.
- System Design: Demonstrated expertise in designing complex data systems.
