Location: Philadelphia, 1701 John F Kennedy Blvd – onsite 4 days a week 

Duration: Long term – this is a multiyear project already pushed out through 2026, if not longer.

Interview Process: 2 rounds of interviews: 1st round – w/ 3 people (Architect, Engineer, and Operations). 2nd round – onsite w/ Manager and her boss.

 

Technical Program Manager – Unified Comms

Team: Unified Communications responsible for supplying videoconferencing, live event staffing, event production.

 

This PM is to run a very large project called AV uplift – taking out old end of life hardware and refreshing the technology with a better hybrid meeting experience for everyone at Comcast throughout the nation and some international.  

 

  • PM experience – min 5 years’ experience
  • Must have Unified Communications experience/background
  • Needs to have an AV background to know how integrators function. 
  • Scheduling, vendor coordination, making sure people are getting to the spaces and do the design, supply chain. 
    • Must know this space well because the project is delivering conference rooms to all buildings in the US and abroad, 135+ offices.
  • Good communication skills and organization skills is a must
  • Previous integrator experience is ideal – BIG plus, as this is exactly what they are looking for.
  • Must have good coordination and scheduling experience
  • Agile work environment, but project is a typical Integrator project where RFP goes out and they get bids

 

Tech Stack: Mostly a MS shop, rolling out Teams devices to most of the footprint. Logitech with site cameras but all on Teams and Windows based. Larger spaces will roll out Cisco; Cisco on Room OS.

 

 

 

  • Responsible for managing one or more highly complex or enterprise wide IT program(s) consisting of multiple projects.  
  • Develops the program strategy, supporting business case and various enterprise wide high-level project plans.  
  • Ensures integration of projects and adjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the business.  
  • Communicates with IT leadership, business leadership and IT Business Consultants to communicate program strategy, direction and changes.  
  • Responsible for delivering all projects contained in the IT project portfolio on time, within budget and meeting the strategic and business requirements. 
  • Responsible for tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to Project Managers.  
  • Partners with senior leadership of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise.  
  • Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools.  
  • This is a single or multiple incumbent(s) position that typically exists in a small to medium size enterprise with multiple project managers, project leaders and/or project support staff as direct or dotted line reports.  
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.  
  • Project Management certification is required.  
  • Typically has 10 to 15 years of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role and 8+ years managing projects.
