Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Reston, VA Must work onsite
Duration: 12-month contract

- Install, configure, and manage Kubernetes + Docker clusters on on-prem hardware.
- Build and update secure Docker images for various applications.
- Install, configure, and manage Jenkins and/or other CI/CD tools.
- Hands-on experience in writing PowerShell, Python, and bash scripts.
- Adept in Installation, Configuration and Administration of RHEL, Windows.
- Proficient in all aspects of software life cycle like Build/Release/Deploy through tools like Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions/Gitlab pipelines, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines.
- Patch and upgrade connected components on a consistent basis.
- Implement best practice around monitoring and alerting in new and existing environments.
- Review alerts and dashboards for accuracy and effectiveness.
- Create and support ongoing Infrastructure as Code efforts to be able to recreate or upgrade an environment on demand.
- Good written and verbal communication in English.
- Good theoretical knowledge technical with practical exposure of 3-4 years for Azure.
