Job Description ::
Summary ::
Validation of software and hardware products developed and or marketed for the to ensure that they fulfil product requirements as specified by both our internal and external customers. Preparation of product requirements specifications and validation test plans that adequately describe the product and provide a basis for consistent, repeatable testing of the product under test.
Assisting software development engineers in populating databases specific to applications under development.
Job Qualifications ::
- Associates’ Degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Two years of experience in Automotive or Heavy Duty software development and/or test.
- Working knowledge of SAE J1708 / J1939. Familiarities with on–board diagnostic (OBD) systems and scan tools.
- Knowledge of electronic theory and basic circuit analysis.
- Basic PC skills including operating systems (MS Windows 95, 98, NT), MS Word, Excel, and Access
- Fundamental understanding of automotive and/or heavy duty truck engine, transmission and ABS operation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Plusses include ASE certification in drivability and/or a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – both optional.
