Urgently Looking For Sr. Java Developer (SE, EE, JMS & Murex, NuvoPrime)// NYC, NY (Hybrid)// Mizuho Bank// USC/ GC Only

 

Role: Sr. Java Developer (SE, EE, JMS & Murex, NuvoPrime)

Location: NYC, NY (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ Months

Client: Mizuho Bank

Visa: USC/ GC Only

MOI: Skype

 

Hybrid job – 2-3 days in office in midtown Manhattan, NYC

  • Developing sophisticated Front Office applications
  • Implementing and performing rigorous testing of the software that is developed
  • Understanding business requirements and writing specifications
  • Building applications as per the specification
  • Administering & work with other teams to handle all batch processing and be able to handle job failures.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years with Java experience (SE, EE)
  • 3+ years with messaging technologies (JMS)
  • 3+ years database experience – writing or dealing with data access layers (SQL Server preferred)
  • Experience with Spring
  • Experience with Maven
  • Experience with real time integration with 3rd party systems (e.g. Murex, NuvoPrime)
  • Strong architecture & design skills
  • Strong communication skills.

 

Ability to clearly articulate ideas, solutions, etc.

  • Self-driven – Ability to lead projects from initiation to completion
  • Strong educational background with BS / MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related area
  • Experience building Front Office Equities applications (e.g. IOIs platform, Positions and Risk modules…)
  • Experience with automated testing tools
