Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to join our team in Oklahoma, USA. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the architecture of our organization’s data systems. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop efficient and scalable solutions to meet those requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data architecture solutions to support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and select appropriate database technologies and tools.
- Define data standards, policies, and best practices.
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity and security.
- Provide guidance and support to development teams on data-related issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data architecture and technology.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff on data-related topics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques.
- Expertise in relational and non-relational database technologies.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in data management or related field (e.g., CDMP, DAMA).
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and practices.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
