About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Middleware and Cloud Computing Specialist with over 15 years of expertise in Middleware technologies, Infrastructure Management, Production Support, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Cloud Computing. This role requires a seasoned professional who can manage complex infrastructure, ensure the reliability of production environments, and lead cloud initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Middleware Technologies: Design, implement, and manage middleware solutions to ensure seamless communication between applications and systems.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure to support business applications and services.
- Production Support: Lead and manage production support teams to ensure high availability and performance of critical business applications.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Implement SRE principles to enhance the reliability and efficiency of production environments. Develop and monitor SLAs, SLIs, and SLOs.
- Cloud Computing: Design and implement cloud solutions, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure cloud security and compliance.
- Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. Lead projects and initiatives to improve infrastructure and operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to align infrastructure and middleware solutions with business goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency and reliability of infrastructure and middleware services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in Middleware technologies, Infrastructure Management, Production Support, SRE, and Cloud Computing.
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing middleware solutions.
- Extensive experience in managing large-scale infrastructure and production environments.
- Strong understanding of SRE principles and practices.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
