Role: Java Developer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA-15275 (Onsite)

Mandatory Areas

Must Have Skills:

1. Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture: 5+ years of experience.
2. Developing and Interfacing with Web Services (RESTful, JSON): 5+ years of experience.
3. Database Concepts, Query Optimization (Relational Databases – Oracle and Postgres): 5+ years of experience.
4. AWS Managed Services, Microservices Architecture, NoSQL Databases: 5+ years of experience with good knowledge or prior experience in Apache Kafka and Spring Batch.
5. Docker and Kubernetes: 5+ years of experience.
6. Modern Monitoring and Logging Platforms: 5+ years of experience.
7. Agile Delivery Methodology and DevOps Model: 5+ years of experience.
8. GIT, JIRA, Jenkins: 5+ years of experience.

Role Scope / Deliverables:

• Create new services with the help of the team.
• Develop, release, and maintain services developed by the team.
• Work on full-stack software projects alongside product owners.

Key Skills:

• Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture: Extensive experience required.
• Web Services (RESTful, JSON): Strong experience in developing and interfacing.
• Database (Oracle and Postgres): Strong understanding of concepts and query optimization.
• AWS Managed Services, NoSQL Databases: Experience required.
• Apache Kafka, Spring Batch: Prior experience or good knowledge required.
• Docker and Kubernetes: Experience required.
• Monitoring and Logging Platforms: Experience with modern platforms required.
• Agile and DevOps: Experience in Agile delivery methodology and DevOps model required.
• GIT, JIRA, Jenkins: Experience with these tools is desired.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Scripting (Python, Perl, Ruby, Shell, AWK): Hands-on experience would be beneficial.
• NoSQL, Cloud/AWS: Exposure would be nice to have.

Additional Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Highly motivated to adopt new technologies, challenges, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Performance-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Quick learner and open to working on new technologies if needed.
