Lead Infrastructure Engineer FHP-Enterprise Middleware Integration seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer-Middleware Integration. Enterprise Middleware Integration team enables development of products to enable the Technology organization to achieve transformation. The function is positioned to build, engineer, and evangelize Middleware, Streaming and Messaging products for the Technology organization.
• Outline and implement product upgrades. • Contribute to the analysis of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements. • Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practices. • Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business. • Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design, and test solutions. • Generate documentation, operational policies, and procedures, as well as documentation. • Employ monitoring tools, such as Grafana, for business application and operations teams. • Contribute to the testing of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements. • Direct daily Risk and Control flow of Compliance, focusing on policies and procedures. • Design complex system upgrades • Develop a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring. • Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success. • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. Required Qualifications: • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including leadership. • Strong team or technical leadership experience Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • 12+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. • 8+ Years of hands-on experience at scale on Middleware (IBM MQ, IBM Message Broker, KAFKA, Solace) Administration performing activities build, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, deploys, configuring, patching and compliance. • 8+ Experience in Application Production Support in Linux and Windows platforms. • Experience in configuring HA clusters like RHCS / Veritas /TSAMP and Multi Instance MQ qmgrs and troubleshooting issues involving HA clusters. • Experience on IBM MQ on zOS, zLinux, Linux, AIX. • Creating, configuring, and maintaining MQ Objects like Queue Managers, Queues, Channels, Listeners, Topics • Good understanding of MQ monitoring tools like IR360 • Hands on experience on IBM API Connect and manage WMB topology, ACE upgrades. • Experience with Kafka Connect worker and connectors (Source and Sink) • Protect the Kafka cluster with ingress connections and tune the Quotas, Request Percentages • Experience on setting Confluent platform with MRC and SBK • Ability to troubleshoot Authentication, Authorization issues. • Experience SSL certificate management • Experience in using Ansible jobs. • Experience in using observability products like Grafana and Splunk • Experience in writing Shell / Python scripts
Desired Qualifications: • Strong team or technical leadership experience • Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment. • Understands compliance and risk management requirements for supported system area. • Provide implementation support for key risk initiatives. • Experience in WebSphere or WebLogic • Understanding Incident Management System (ServiceNow preferred) • Monitoring Alerts, Batch Failures, Service Now Queue. • Understanding of Infrastructure Technologies like Linux, Windows, MW, Database • Handle outage calls efficiently, triage any issues, and fix them. • Experience in Ansible, and UDeploy • Experience with types of Jobs Failures and Troubleshooting • Basic Web Server Administration • Basic Application Server and Application troubleshooting (Java and .Net) • Shell Commands • Linux Administration Basics • Basic Networking Commands • Understanding the Networking topology, Load Balancers such as F5. • Troubleshooting Basic HTTP Failures • Troubleshooting Basic Java Application Servers issues.
