Job Description:
Our client is seeking a GIS System Admin for the following position.
Responsible for supporting all GIS infrastructure deployed in the client's Environment.
Primary resource responsible for support and maintenance of ArcGIS Enterprise deployment for GIS Platform.
As part of the maintenance team, this resource will oversee enhancements to the existing infrastructure or
configure new deployments in the client's environment as needed.
This resource shall closely work with GIS architects and ensure all GIS deployment standards and guidelines
are adhered.
The workers' responsibilities and skills must include:
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS (Required)
Years Skills/Experience
4-7 years Experience in install and maintenance of GIS infrastructure.
4-7 years Experience in ArcGIS Enterprise deployment, ArcGIS Server, and Portal for ArcGIS.
4-7 years Experience in modifying and updating ArcGIS deployments with Chef and Cloud Formation Templates.
4-7 years Experience working on solutions deployed in AWS or GCP
4-7 years Experience configuring and maintaining ESRI License manager.
4-7 years Experience in securing and maintaining the site using firewalls and ports, server certificates, and adhering to enterprise security policies
4-7 years Experience with ArcGIS workflow automation tools like Python API for ArcGIS and WebGISDR tool.
4-7 years Experience in monitoring the performance and health of the site using ArcGIS Monitor, server logs and statistics
4-7 years Experience in upgrading ArcGIS software to latest versions following ESRI standards and client's security policies
Preferred (Optional): insert specific preferred skills for this Contract Position) Years Skills/Experience
3 years Perform configurations of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions (ArcGIS Apps, etc.)
Experience with supporting GIS database services (RDBMS), specifically on SQL Server.
Experience on FME Desktop and FME Server
