JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Responsible for monitoring the scrum processes and scrum meetings. He increases his team efficiency, motivates his team, spins, argues for changes that will ensure quality and timeliness. He ensures observance of DoD (Definition of done).

 

This position will perform the duties of Agile Scrum Master for various projects managed by HHSC IT. This role will serve as an expert-level facilitator and leader of Agile/Scrum framework and ensures all Scrum teams stay true to the Agile principles. Responsible for making sure all Scrum ceremonies take place, are productive, and stay within their assigned timebox. Facilitates and/or coordinates Scrum events when necessary. Utilizes communication, technical, and organizational skills to remove impediments, enhances collaboration, and ensures that the team delivers value to the customer. Must have a demonstrated ability to effectively coach a high-performing delivery team in an Agile environment. Servant leadership, organizational, and motivational strengths are essential.
