Job Description :
need of a qualified Cognos Analytics Senior Software Engineer Consultant to work to design and develop complex IBM Cognos Analytics data modules, framework models, cubes, reports, dashboards and data pipelines. Senior Software Engineer will design and implement optimized Cognos data modules and/or cubes to provide fast query performance and efficient data retrieval for reporting and analysis purposes.
Required Qualifications :
5 years’ experience developing Cognos cubes, and data modules, structures, dimensions, measures, and aggregations in Cognos Analytics including versions 11.0.x-12.0.x
5 years’ experience developing complex framework models in Cognos Analytics including versions 11.0.x-12.0.x
5 years’ experience developing complex reports and interactive dashboards in Cognos Analytics including versions 11.0.x-12.0.x
5 years’ experience in data warehousing and ETL processes and advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating data
5 years’ experience with Oracle and MySQL environments and data structures
5 years’ experience with Oracle PL/SQL Expert-level knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, views, and triggers.
8 years’ experience in Cognos report design and development.
5 years’ experience in training developers, technical support staff, and end users to use various advanced features within the Cognos Analytics environment.
3 engagements/projects using the AGILE methodology approach
