- Cisco Certified Architect (CCAr)
- Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Cisco network solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop detailed network architecture plans, including hardware, software, protocols, and configurations.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing network infrastructure.
- Evaluate network performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers.
- Conduct regular network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a Cisco Network Architect or similar role in designing and managing large-scale Cisco network environments.
- SME knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
- Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, firewalls (ASA, Firepower), and VPN solutions.
- Industry certifications such as CCAR (Cisco Certified Architect), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), and CCDE (Cisco Certified Design Expert) are required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with network virtualization technologies (e.g., SD-WAN, SDN).
- Knowledge of cloud networking principles and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Cisco Prime).
- Cisco Certified Architect (CCAr)
