Job Title: Cloud Architect

Job Location: Glen, Virginia (Remote)

Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and engineering teams to establish a technical architecture, governance framework, and best practices for efficient solution development and repeatable processes.

Act as the primary architect and technical lead for Dynamics 365 and M365 Power Platform suite (including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents).

Lead complex projects and turnkey solutions spanning multiple architecture domains such as Azure IaaS, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure DevOps, Okta Identity Management, Azure storage accounts, and Azure app registrations.

Analyze 3rd-party products to document overall solution and system architectures, including identity and permissions security models.

Contribute to product feature roadmaps and the DSS Power Platform Community of Practice (CoP) models.

Ensure high-quality platform deliverables aligned with the platform roadmap and capabilities.

Define delivery documentation encompassing best practices, design, build, operations guides, and management processes.

Lead efforts in designing and implementing enterprise security and technology patterns.

Align architecture strategy with business objectives and communicate architectural policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.

Promote governance framework outcomes and results to the organization and senior leadership.

Review and develop architectural requirements, improving business processes where applicable.

Address complex, ambiguous problems spanning multiple systems and organizations.

Collaborate with project management and IT leaders to ensure architectural alignment with project goals and requirements.

Resolve conflicts productively across teams.

Requirements:

5+ years of in-depth experience with Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

10+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid, on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, industry standards, and/or technology management.

15+ years of experience in the technology industry and IT consulting services.

Proven track record managing end-to-end product deployments from concept to successful launch.

Experience leading programs with significant customer journey impact, covering program planning, risk assessment, cost management, and delivery.

Demonstrated ability to create product roadmaps, best practices, and development standards for M365 and its products.

Excellent communication and influencing skills across technical and non-technical teams and at all levels of the organization.

BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Process Automation.

Required Skills:

Azure Power Pages: 5 years

Dynamics 365: 5 years

Technical Program or Technical Product Management: 10 years

Cloud and hybrid, on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, industry standards, and/or technology management: 10 years
