Role: Sr Cyber Security Analyst
Location: Farmington, CT; 06032 (Hybrid Mode: 3days per week Onsite)

Top skills:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Cyber Security Analyst, including hands-on experience securing web applications through vulnerability remediation, multi-factor authentication, etc.
- Experience designing, developing & supporting externally/internet-facing web applications (applications in the DMZ)
- Experience with assisting the onboarding and setup ATE (Application Transformation Engineering) processes
- Must have knowledge/experience with CLARA and ATO (XetaCloud and XetaDev – preferred)
About the role:
The Enterprise Application Services team is looking for a Sr. Cyber Security Analyst to support a high visibility project. The Cyber teams recently spun up a program to ensure that all external & internal applications have the right Cyber Controls in place. This resource will have the opportunity to partner with the Cyber Leadership teams as well as various applications team to provide guidance & create SOPs to ensure that internal & external applications are well protected from external threats.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Cyber Security Analyst
- Hands-on experience securing web applications through vulnerability remediation, multi-factor authentication, etc.
- Experience designing, developing & supporting externally/internet-facing web applications (DMZ applications)
- Experience with assisting the onboarding and setup ATE (Application Transformation Engineering) processes
- CLARA and ATO (XetaCloud and XetaDev – preferred)
- Experience with OWASP Top 10 and corresponding remediation techniques
- Strong understanding of unit, system, and integration testing scenarios to ensure the robustness and reliability of applications
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of security technologies including firewalls, proxies, Antivirus, SIEM etc.
- Development background
Responsibilities:
- Liaison between application owners and ATE (Application Transformation Engineering) dependent teams (e.g. XetaCloud, XetaDev, EAS, etc.) to facilitate communication and collaboration
- Assist with onboard and setup ATE dependent processes (e.g. XetaCloud, XetaDev, CLARA, ATO)
- Assist with in-depth analysis of in-scope applications to understand their architecture, complexity, functionality, and interdependencies for comprehensive understanding and actionable insights
- Provide intake planning for in-scope application(s) to the modernization workstream
- Assist with translation of non-functional attributes of an application (e.g. resiliency, reliability, and availability) to implementable solutions
