DATA WAREHOUSE TEST LEAD – INSURANCE DOMAIN

Location – Remote

 

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

– Lead and manage all aspects of data testing activities, including data quality, data integration, data migration, and data transformation.

– Collaborate with business analysts and data analysts to understand data requirements, data models, and business rules

– Develop and implement comprehensive data testing strategies, plans, and test cases to validate the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across systems.

– Design and execute complex SQL queries and scripts to verify data integrity, data transformations, and data mappings.

– Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve data-related issues, including data quality problems, data discrepancies, and data performance bottlenecks.

– Define and enforce data testing standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistent and high-quality data testing processes.

– Coordinate and prioritize testing activities, ensuring timely delivery of test results and accurate defect management.

– Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the data testing team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

 

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Data Test Lead/Senior Data Test Lead in insurance domain.

– Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) concepts, policies, and processes.

– In-depth understanding of data testing methodologies, data quality frameworks, and data integration strategies of the P&C domain

– Proficiency in SQL and experience with data querying, data validation, and data manipulation.

– Advance knowledge of experience in  in data test automation frameworks written in Python

– Familiarity with insurance systems and technologies, such as policy administration systems, claims management systems, and rating engines.

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

– Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively build a testing team in the future.

– Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

– Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks, such as JIRA or Selenium, is a plus.
