Contract
Day 1 Onsite
Unix Admin, Red hat Linux, solaris, shell scripting
• Maintaining servers using the RedHat Linux and or Solaris/AIX operating system
• Participate in an on-call rotation for UNIX/Linux support issues
• Advanced knowledge of HP-UX hardware, OS, and virtualization concepts Redat Enterprise Linux is required for this position
• Configuring and maintain successful backups for UNIX and Linux systems
• Participating in defining UNIX and Linux hardware and software requirements, installation and configuration
• Participating in the documentation of activities, system changes, procedures, policies and standards for the UNIX and Linux architecture
• Work directly with engineering teams to help them incorporate Docker into their software deployment workflows
• Maintain/monitor performance of host based IPS\IDS infrastructure servers and remote agents
• Perform the Patching activities on Unix servers and fix the vulnerabilities.
• 7+ years of Unix/Linux Administration (preferably RHEL 5-6) & Solaris
• At least 5+ years of Unix Authentication and Patching activities
• Expert experience in one or two UNIX operating systems (Red Hat Linux or AIX an advantage)
• Advanced knowledge of UNIX Shell Scripting, to include Perl, Bash, & Korn languages
• Must have solid Linux/Unix Administration experience
• Administration of Unix core services and applications such as NIS, NFS, automount, DNS, DHCP, Samba, SendMail, Apache, NTP, sudo, Jumpstart/Kickstart, LDAP, SSH
• Working knowledge with storage (ability to connect UNIX/Linux Servers to SAN storage and troubleshoot)
• Practical hands on experience – troubleshooting UNIX/Linux, hardware issues and application issues.
Kafka Administrator — Boston, MA— Contract – Day 1 Onsite
Kafka admin key responsibilities:
• Confluent Kafka platform setup , maintenance , upgrade.
• Hands on experience with Kafka Brokers.
• Hands on experience with Schema Registry.
• Hands on experience with KSQL DB and understanding of underlying implementation and functions.
• Hands on experience with Kafka connectors and understanding of underlying implementation
• Proficient understanding of Kafka client Producer and consumer functioning
• Ability to design and implement technical solutions for the Kafka On prem must and good to have experience in confluent cloud.
• Experience with Kafka deployment in Azure Kubernetes Service• Experience working in Azure cloud
Role :- VMware Admin—— Chicago Ridge, IL— Contract – Day 1 Onsite
VMWare, VMware vSphere, Dell Vxrail
• In-depth knowledge and troubleshooting skill in vSAN cluster
• Good Experience in VXRail LCM upgrade
• Strong understating in VxRail stretched cluster
• Experience in VXRail Node expansion.
• Good Experience in Dell vXRail Switches, Configuration and upgrade
• Good Experience in NSX-V & NSX-T and VMware Distributed switches.
• In-depth knowledge and experience on VMware ESXi (6.7 , 7 & 8 ) hypervisors installation and administration.
• In depth troubleshooting skills in VCenter, ESXi hosts, Networking, and storage.
• Capacity planning skill for ESXi clusters and VMs.
• Experience on planning, deploying and maintain VMware vSphere environments.
• Experience in consolidation and upgrade.
• VM deployment skills form Templates and OVA/OVF.
• Good knowledge in VMware vSphere replication and SRM• Good knowledge on VMware integrated backup and restore solutions.
• Experience in VMware PowerCLI and windows PowerShell.
• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
• Expertise implementation Knowledge of VMware VROPs, VMware Site recovery Manager, VMware VRealize business and VROPS
