Job Title: Business Analyst with SAS exp
Location: Austin, TX (Remote but need locals) (No relocation accepted)
Primary Responsibilities:
·Develop and implement data analysis programs using SAS Viya to support business operations and decision-making.
·Lead the creation and visualization of business process models, focusing on process improvement and system optimization.
·Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.
·Collaborate with technical teams to design data systems, define data architecture, and oversee the development, testing, and deployment of technical solutions.
·Manage project documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs), risk assessments, and change management plans, ensuring compliance with project objectives and timelines.
·Guide project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, providing strategic direction and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards.
·Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure that all parties are informed and aligned on project progress and expectations.
·Monitor project performance, implementing change control processes to manage scope, timeline, and budget adjustments as needed.
·Ensure all system documentation is complete, and conduct thorough testing before final approval for implementation.
Requirements:
·12+ years of overall experience with at least 8 years in data analysis and 5 years in business process improvement and system analysis.
·Extensive experience with SAS Viya and proficiency in Agile methodologies.
·Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools.
·Proven experience in managing complex projects, including data systems, application deployments, and technology infrastructure.
·Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, SQL, and other data analysis tools like R or Python.
·Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams.
·Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CSM) or Agile is preferred.
·Experience in roles involving stakeholder engagement, business requirement analysis, and project documentation.
·Preferred experience in healthcare or public sector projects.
